Synopsis

The GReece Economic and Algorithmic Theory Week will bring together researchers from academia and industrial research working in the interface between economic theory and algorithms. Topics include mechanism design, market design, computational equilibria, price of anarchy, selfish routing, market equilibrium, and social networks and applications such as spectrum auctions, advertising auctions, and crowdsourcing. There will be a technical program of short talks given by invitees as well as ample time for informal discussion and collaboration.

The workshop is grateful for sponsorship from Microsoft Research, Google Research, and the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens.

Locale

The workshop will take place at the Santa Maria Beach on the Greek island of Paros. Paros is easy to reach by ferry from Athens. There is a bus service provided by the Santa Maria Surfing Beach Village to reach the workshop location. Accommodation will be in bungalows on the beach front.

We suggest arrivals be on Sunday, July 24 and departures on Saturday, July 30. We suggest flying to Athens and taking a ferry or plane from there. Options include:
